Sunset Strip Real Estate
The Sunset Strip is a living legend blazing its own path as a premier destination for the latest in music, entertainment, fashion and ultra-stylish living and real estate.
Few places in the world have as much history as the Sunset Strip in West Hollywood. The home of 1920’s era gangsters, the playground of Hollywood celebrities, then and now, and the birth site of countless famous bands, the Sunset Strip is an entertainment and lifestyle destination like no other.
In the 1920’s Angelinos began to discover the beautiful poinsettia fields and avocado groves of what is now West Hollywood were located just outside the boundary of Los Angeles and thus outside the
jurisdiction of the LAPD .Police officers more relaxed and laissez-faire attitude toward the area allowed the Strip to grow into an Entertainment mecca. Hence the seeds were sown for the huge attraction the
area holds for those in the Entertainment industry and further the huge attraction for those wishing to hold property there. The area was named the “Sunset Strip” because it was the “Strip” of unpolished
land that allowed for the original “lawlessness” to come to the area and for which it originally earned its infamy. This infamy eventually lead to the fame, prestige and glamor of the Sunset Strip that both Buyers
and Agents alike covet and admire.
